Crystal Wallet Design Improvement contest results

Hi! We continue to tell you about the results of the most interesting contests held in Free Ton. Today we will plunge into the world of design. On October 5th, after the official Landing page design competition, a proposal was made to hold a Free Ton wallet design competition. The essence of the competition was to optimize the existing design, both in terms of interface convenience and style (UX / UI).
The motivation for the competition was also to create a design for future technical improvements of the wallet: Support for other cryptocurrencies and tokens that will be developed based on the Free Ton blockchain.

Conditions required for participation in the competition:

  • The interface must have the Add / Remove token function from the wallet interface ( inspire by Metamask and MyEtherWallet)
  • Token detection function by contract address and ticker
    Confirming dialogs
  • Choosing a specific token wallet
  • Finding a token contract
  • Transaction history with filters
  • Transaction details, including paid gas

The wallet control panel should include the following features:

Token wallet balances

Equivalent value in another currency (e.g. USD and BTC)

Also, for the application to be considered, you need:
Create prototypes in Figma (or another prototype system)
A link to the navigation map between elements attached to the prototype
The job must meet four conditions:

  • Be original. It should not include more than 10% of the works of other competitors;
  • Realizable. Best practices for interface design;
  • Consistent. It should not spoil the current wallet interface and match it;
  • Modern. Be inspired by the FreeTON and Telegram brand books.

In turn, to vote in the competition, the Jury must have extensive experience in understanding and work with UI / UX design. Like last time, we asked one of the jury members to comment on all the winning entries. While more than 50 applications were submitted for the landing page design contest, only 17 participants competed for the purse design contest for a prize of 25,000 TON. So, our winners:

The top ten is opened by user @Aleksvik. The average score of 6.00.
Jury comment: “Excellent work, but there are still many things to be finalized. In general, it is done in the Free Ton style and it can be seen that great efforts have been made. Therefore, all the judges gave from 5 to 7 points. ”
